Ski Trip 2007

For several days now I've started writing a followup for our recent ski trip to Colorado, but keep coming up short of something to say. So I'll try to keep this short and sweet.

All-in-all, we had a blast. We visited Breckenridge, Copper Mountain, and Beaver Creek. Each day was better than the last. Below are the lowlights/highlights of each resort:

Breckenridge
Lowlights - $10 cheeseburgers. My T-Bar Lift incompetency.
Highlights - Great parking spot. Small crowds. Nice Blue section via Independence Super Chair Lift. The others' T-Bar Lift competency.

Copper Mountain
Lowlights - Not-so-good parking spot. Unaccountable snowboarders.
Highlights - $3.99 Pasta Bowl lunch. Employee Courtesy. Freshly groomed Blues. Jamie and Kelvin's slalom race.

Beaver Creek
Lowlights - Expensive all-around. $10.50 cheeseburgers. Dropped ski pole off of ski lift.
Highlights - 2-3 inches fresh snow. Conquering first true Black Diamond of the trip. The last run of the day/trip on Jack Rabbit Alley.

I don't think we could have chosen a better list of places to go for three days of skiing. Though, it's hard to go wrong when we were within 40 miles of seven World-Class resorts.

Other highlights in between all the skiing included my first Fat Tire, an unbelievable burrito at Marisol's called "The Big One," and a visit to Fraser, CO to see a new/good friend, Lindsey who works at Crooked Creek Ranch.

Here are some pictures from the trip...
